About TMYI

In 2017, our community experienced the loss of Mr. Terrance Miles, affectionately known as “Money,” a nickname bestowed upon him by his mother. Terrance’s strong community influence, especially to the youth of Fort Wayne continues to resonate with so many. So much so that the Terrance Miles Youth Initiative (TMYI) 501c3 non-profit entity was established. This special non-profit was created to provide opportunities for youth that will expose them to high-level and intentional skills in life, sports, and the world of business—all a reflection of the legacy of Terrance.

Terrance “Money” Miles:

Terrance was born October 20, 1980 in Fort Wayne, IN. A 1999 graduate of Northside High School and a 2003 graduate of Indiana State University (Sports Management). Terrance dedicated his life to being a community mentor, youth influencer and servant leader. Terrance spent seven years working with Fort Wayne Parks & Recreation, Boys & Girls Club (Athletic Director), Horizon Christian Academy (Dean of Students), and Forest Park Elementary School (Administrative Assistant). Terrance dedicated his adult life to the betterment of his/our community.
